Bookings open for Saxophone Day Beginner/Intermediate

Booking is now open for the saxophone day on June 25th 2011 10.00 am - 5.30 pm to be held at the Village Hall, Kinoulton, Notts
Cost £30.00, lunch can be provided at £6.00 each.
This will be a mixed day of playing together and learning about the saxophone, with tutors Alistair Parnell and Nicola Pennill.
The day will include:

Group playing (parts and a backing track will be supplied for the main items before the day so you get a chance to try them out!)

A free choice session including introduction to jazz playing, understanding reeds and mouthpieces, playing clinic with the chance to play with an accompanist

Windblowers stand with saxes and accessories to try and buy
Short concert to which friends and family are warmly invited.
The day starts at 10:30 am (registration at 10 am) and will be finished no later than 5.30 pm.
Booking closes 17th June 2011.
It is aimed primarily at beginner and intermediate players up to around Grade 5 level. The day is open to all. However, if you are under 16 and would like to attend please contact us before booking to ensure we can cater for you.
